In Luke 6, Jesus says we should give people what they ask for and if someone takes without asking, we should offer more. This statement seems odd, as if we should reward someone for bad behavior. Here’s how I’ve seen this happen.
Being open to surprises means being available for transformation. If we get what we expect, then we’ll feel affirmed. But what we really need for change is a new understanding.
Fear can often prevent us from realizing our dreams. But fear can also protect us from danger. A technique for overcoming fear is to choose the right fears to confront.
